3/24/2020 – Current CDC high risk travel exposure include:  Any International Travel (except Mexico – low risk at this time), New York, California, and Washington State

Self Isolation Instructions – If you have coronavirus

Self Quarantine Instructions – if you have been exposed to coronavirus but have no symptoms

Self-Screening For Patients - If You Have:

 NOT traveled to an area known to have coronavirus AND NOT had exposure to someone who has coronavirus (COVID-19)

AND you have

Symptoms:

Runny nose

Stuffy nose

Sore throat

Symptoms of a cold

 NOT traveled  AND NOT had exposure to someone who has coronavirus (COVID-19)

AND you have

Symptoms:

Fever or

Cough or

Shortness of breath

 ⇓

 Traveled to an area known to have coronavirus OR had exposure to someone who is known to have coronavirus (COVID-19) within last 2 weeks

AND you have

 

Symptoms:

Fever or

Cough or

Shortness of breath

 Traveled to an area known to have coronavirus OR had exposure to someone who is known to have coronavirus (COVID-19) within last 2 weeks

AND you have

No Symptoms

 ⇓

Plan to stay at home to limit possible exposure to other illnesses

Limit exposure to just essential visitors

Use over the counter cough and cold medications as needed for symptom relief

Call your FHC clinic if symptoms get worse or last for more than 7 days

Call your FHC clinic if you have:

  • Fever > 3 days
  • Shortness of breath (any)
  • Inability to Drink fluids
  • Severe Symptoms

Or if you have Risk Factors:

  • over 65 year old or
  • Have heart, lung, liver, or kidney disease or
  • Have high blood pressure, active cancer, autoimmune disease or diabetes or
  • Are taking immune suppression medication or chemotherapy

Call your FHC clinic and speak with someone BEFORE coming to the office

We will arrange for the best/safest way for you to be seen

Call the McLennan County health department or visit web site above for good information

Call your FHC clinic IF 1) you have a routine appointment so we can postpone your appointment and get you appropriate medication refills, and 2) If you start to have fever, cough, or shortness of breath

We are NOT testing individuals with these symptoms at this time We are NOT testing individuals without travel exposure at this time Call before coming so we can arrange for appropriate care and testing  At FHC we are unable to test travelers without symptoms at this time

If you are scheduled for a visit with your Bell’s Hill clinician your visit will automatically be moved to Bell’s Hill starting on Sept 30th

If you have any questions, please call your normal clinic, and FHC staff will be glad to assist you!
